    How to play

    1. You run the series

Sakhir opens the season and Abu Dhabi closes it. Put the six races in between in the best order.

    2. Preview circuits

Tap a race (or its marker on the map) and the globe flies there. A preview in the corner shows its circuit, its weather in that round's month and, from the October 13 route, its Straight Mode zones. Details shows every date, how much overtaking it usually has and more.

    3. Plan your calendar

Drag a race to a new round (press and hold on phones), use the arrows, or move it from Details. A moved race takes its new round's month, and the preview shows that month's weather.

    4. Lock it in

Your score stays hidden until you lock in. Then watch the replay, see travel, weather and fans against the best possible season, and share your result. One submitted season per daily route.

    5. More to play

Challenges (the flag button) are hand-picked seasons built around one trade-off each. Replay them as often as you like; your best is kept and the daily streak is untouched.

    How the score works

Score = kilometres flown + weather penalty + fan gap. Lower wins. Par is a podium-level target (about 5% off the best season).

Weather: a race in a risky month adds distance.

    Fair +0Moderate +3,000 kmSevere +8,000 km

Heat (average high 34 °C+, severe 38 °C+), cold (13 °C or less, severe 8 °C), rain (120 mm a month+, severe 200 mm) and storm seasons. Only the highest risk at a round counts.

Fans: each race gets a fan rating out of 10 from its overtaking, safety-car chaos, its Straight Mode zones and its weather. Back-to-back street races lose a point, and late rounds count more (up to ×1.8 at the finale). Every 0.1 your season's fan rating trails the most exciting order of today's six cities adds 800 km.

Straight Mode zones (simulated): in 2026 cars run low-drag wings on designated straights, and in the wet race control can allow only part of each zone or switch them off. Paddock Atlas marks each circuit's longest straights as zones (our estimate, not FIA zones): Full in dry months, Partial in wet or stormy months, Off in severe rain or storms. Open zones add up to 1.5 to a race's fan rating, depending on how long they are; partial zones half that, rounded down to a half point. (Zones count from the October 13, 2026 route; earlier routes used a simulated Overtake Mode bonus.)

Tools: one hint a day places a race for you (your share card says so). Full rules and sources.

Weather comes from long-term monthly averages for each city (historical climate records), not forecasts: a "typical June" figure describes the season, not the weather on race day. Settings › Weather animation turns the moving weather into a still picture. Everyone gets the same route at midnight UTC, and results stay on this device.

    Your stats

Completing consecutive daily routes builds your streak. Stats stay in this browser.

    Challenges

Hand-picked seasons, each built around a different trade-off. Play them as often as you like: your best result is remembered on this device, and they never touch your daily streak or stats. Podium = at or under Par (about 5% off the best season).

    Settings

Weather animation is always a still picture when your device asks for reduced motion.

The 3D globe needs a device with 3D graphics. The flat map is used automatically when it isn't available, or when your device asks for reduced motion.

Changing distance units converts the display. It keeps the same score and result.

By default you see a race's weather by tapping it. “Always show” puts it on the race list too.
